Why these guides exist

Because most travel content answers the wrong question

Search any destination and you'll find forty monasteries, thirty "hidden gems" that aren't hidden, and no answer to the thing you actually worry about: what will this cost, what will go wrong, and what would a local tell me over coffee?

Because prices matter and nobody prints them

Every guide carries checked, current prices — transfers, meals, sunbeds, car hire, and full trip budgets — so you can tell in three seconds whether a quote is fair or a rip-off.

Because "skip it" is useful advice

We say which attractions aren't worth your afternoon, which tours are a coach-window waste, and where the €10 difference buys you nothing but a view of the rent. A guide that recommends everything recommends nothing.

The tools we actually travel with

Some links above are affiliate links: if you book through them we earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. We only recommend what we'd use ourselves — and mostly have.
